Brough Superior Motorcycles in Invercargill
Vintage motorcycle enthusiasts will find themselves gobsmacked by our collection of Brough Superior motorcycles, known colloquially as ‘the Rolls Royce of vintage motorcycles’.
Classic Motorcycle Mecca is home to not just one Brough Superior, but eight of them, making this the largest display of Brough Superior vintage motorcycles south of the Equator.
(Sure, super-collector Jay Leno has a few more, but we’re pretty proud of our display nevertheless.)
That number is even more impressive when you consider that a mere 3048 motorcycles were produced under the Brough Superior marque in the company’s 21-year history.
Built in Nottingham, England, between 1919 to 1940, these hand-crafted machines were unabashedly positioned at the luxury end of the market. No expense was spared when it came to production of these motorcycles, and it showed – not only were they beautiful, they were fast.
Among our Brough Superior display, visitors will find plenty to admire. Our Brough Superior collection boasts a sidecar model and a limited edition 2017 relaunch model among its ranks. The 1937 Brough Superior SS100 is usually considered to be the highlight off the bunch. This model underwent a full restoration in 1990 and was also featured in Cycle World magazine.
These vintage motorcycles are often considered the crème de la crème of bikes. We can always spot real enthusiasts visiting the collection, as our Brough Superior display is always guaranteed to catch their eye. Come in and see them for yourself.
