The leading motorcycle museum in the Southern Hemisphere
Discover the largest and most diverse display of classic motorcycles in New Zealand, with more than 300 motorbikes that hail as far back as 1902.
Since opening in 2016, Classic Motorcycle Mecca has established itself a two-wheeled paradise for motorcycle fans. From John Britten to Brough Superior to Burt Munro, Classic Motorcycle Mecca has it all - and our museum allows guests to get up-close-and-personal with the bikes they love best. You won't find stuffy display cases here: just 360-degree views of some of the finest classic British, European and American motorcycles as well as Japanese, speedway and motocross machines. Housed in two restored heritage buildings, our classic motorbike collection is a must-see destination for aficionados and newbies alike.
Classic Motorcycle Mecca is home to the most iconic classic motorcycle brands, allowing visitors to discover legends of the road and hidden gems, like our quirky custom bikes, that you simply won't see anywhere else on Earth.
