Legendary Kiwi motorcycle engineer John Britten had always wanted to build a single-cylinder engine to race in Supermono.
Once diagnosed, the single project was rushed through as it was one of Britten’s last wishes to see it run. Sadly, despite the monumental efforts that went into ticking this off John Britten’s bucket list, he passed away a mere two weeks before the project was completed.
