From Italy to Invercargill
If there’s one thing you can count on from Italian automotive players, it’s plenty of panache: and now Classic Motorcycle Mecca is set to bring a taste of Italy to Invercargill.
This March, famed Italian manufacturer Moto Guzzi will celebrate 100 years. To pay tribute to this incredible milestone, our collection will host a limited-time-only mini exhibit, 100 Years of Moto Guzzi.
Founded on 15 March 1921, the Società Anonima Moto Guzzi was established at the now-famous Mandello de Lario factory near Lake Como – the epitome of Italian glamour – and the marque went on to play a key role in Italy’s automotive history.
Renowned for its air-cooled 90° V-twin engines, Moto Guzzi was the brainchild of two aircraft pilots and a mechanic who served in the Italian airforce in WWI: Carlo Guzzi, Giovanni Ravelli and Giorgio Parodi.
Now the oldest European motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production, Moto Guzzi played a prominent role worldwide in motorcycle racing and industry-leading innovations.
100 Years of Moto Guzzi will include a select handful of bikes crafted at the Mandello de Lario factory.
Admission to 100 Years of Moto Guzzi is included in entry to Classic Motorcycle Mecca.
It’s here for a limited-time-only: book your visit today!
