Welcome to our new-look website!
It’s finally here! Classic Motorcycle Mecca’s brand-new website looks as slick and sophisticated as the bikes you can discover while visiting our world-class collection.
“We have been working on getting our new Classic Motorcycle Mecca website up-and-running for a long time: it consumed a lot of time during lockdown and beyond, but we wanted to ensure we got it just right so that all of our enthusiasts had an online space that was as much a ‘mecca’ as our museum is,” Transport World communications and marketing coordinator Alana Dixon-Calder says.
“We have a really enthusiastic and dedicated community in behind Classic Motorcycle Mecca, and we hope they find our new website user-friendly, informative, and most of all, that it shows them just how top-notch the Classic Motorcycle Mecca experience really is.”
One of the most highly-anticipated features of the new site is a collection section, dedicated to showcasing some of the most special, rare, and notable vintage and veteran motorcycles found within the Classic Motorcycle Mecca collection. Profiles on a staggering number of motorbikes are included on the site, and the Transport World team promises more to come. Among the hero bikes profiled on the website include dedicated sections to names like John Britten, Ivan Mauger, Karel Pavich, Brough Superior, Harley-Davidson, and BMW.
The recently-opened George Begg Bunker has also garnered a dedicated presence on the new website, as has information on the annual Burt Munro Challenge and even the vast motorcycle-themed artwork collection.
Make sure you have a good look around – there’s plenty to see!
