What’s an Invercargill-based classic motorcycle museum without a tribute area dedicated to the man himself: Burt Munro.
Classic Motorcycle Mecca is privileged to be home to a number of authentic items that once belonged to Burt Munro, the man known as The World’s Fastest Indian, courtesy of the Munro family.
From trophies to family photos and even the suitcase Burt Munro travelled with on his world speed attempts at the Bonneville Salt Flats, classic motorcycle enthusiasts will get a kick out of seeing these items – donated by Burt’s family – up close.
