John Britten Single Motor

Meet the smallest John Britten engine.

  • Legendary Kiwi motorcycle engineer John Britten had always wanted to build a single-cylinder engine to race in Supermono
  • Once Britten was diagnosed with cancer, the single project was rushed through as it was one of the legendary engineer's final wishes to see it run
  • Sadly, despite the monumental efforts that went into ticking this off John Britten’s bucket list, he passed away a mere two weeks before the project was completed.
